Hi Everyone
This year marks 7 years (7/13/03) since Marcia “Ackeegirl” Davidson passed away after a long battle with heart disease. She was instrumental to the Jamaicans.com website and served as the first moderator, first administrator, and in many other areas. She had the heart of an angel. She loved this website, people who visited this site and loved the Jamaican community. Word can not express the loss we all felt when she passed away.
In honor of her memory we have vowed to do an annual donation to the Jamaica Heart Foundation in her name. Our Goal this year is to collect $500 US by August 31th, 2010 We only have 2 months to achieve this goal so please donate today as we hope to make a presentation to the Heart Foundation in October.
